Big Weekend Coming up for Team Flying Squirrel....

First and foremost, the Skins take on the Boys at 4pm Sunday. This is a huge divisional game early in the season. Take away all the history and looking at the NFC East, every game is important. It is also huge for the Skins because they play at Dallas and immediately follow at Philly. Tough task, but that is life in the NFC East....The Skins will also be without Jason Taylor, who could have lost his leg apparently, nice....So, some veterans are going to have to step up on the ends. I am looking forward to it though.....Romo has been mistake prone...T.O. looks like he about to pull a Jerry Mcguire any minute and Wade Phillips might just eat Jerry Jones and not even realize it. It is going to be sad watching the game and not waiting to see Sean Taylor (RIP) try to cave T.O.'s chest in. Hopefully Landry will be able to step up. Go Skins!

The F'n Metropolitans....

They finally got a dramatic win last night to keep pace, but the Mets are desparately trying to recreate the collapse of last year, I was at Shea Wednesday night, and let me tell you, even 12 beers deep you could feel the tightness in the crowd, the players, the looming Citi Field even looked nervous...maybe that was just my stomach after eating a sausage and peppers.....M E T S

Uconn goes to Louisville to try to stay unbeaten and gain some respect. I was watching some terrible ESPN show the other day and they were discussing the Heisman race when a fan email was read, the fan was asking why Donald Brown is not a Heisman canidate. So it is safe to say that Uconn Football fans are still very delusional, myself included. So when I say this might be the victory to boost the Huskies to winning a second consecutive Big East title (at least a share) keep that in mind. Uconn! Huskies!, Huskies! Uconn! PS. Check out the Uconn Football blog I added, this guys clearly gets paid, but its cool..

Man City baby.....Coming off a huge 6 to nil win against Portsmouth last weekend the Blues immediately went and lost in PK's (thats penalty kicks for the soccer illiterate) to a team that is basically one of the worst JV teams in England....... right. They didn't play their best players, but still, not good, money can't buy everything...I am excited though and Robinho and SWP are looking like the type of players to provide for excitement. They get Michael Johnson back from injury and they go and play at Wigan Athletic on Sunday....check out the Man City blog I added, those English blokes....I tell ya
